GarLind Ridge Collies in Wisconsin
Adults-Available

December 2013

We occasionally will have adults available for adoption. We do not have any available at this time, however, may in the near future. Please feel free to get on the waiting list for an adult or check with us periodically.

Occiasionally GarLind Ridge collies will have adults offered to good homes.

We do not have a kennel so do not have the capacity to keep all retired adults along with continuing our breeding program.

Our adults are not offered to other breeders, if they leave us, it will be to a pet/companion home.

There are adults that we feel would love a family of their own once they retire from Garlind Ridge. We do what we feel is best for each and every one of our collies as their retire.

We retire some collies early due to a problem during their pregnancy, mastititis, fertility, and other issues, doing what is best for them and for their offspring.

We screen families for our retired adults just as we do for our puppies, wanting the best for them as they have been a part of our family.

We do have many adults who retire and remain at GarLind Ridge, however, there are adults who also leave to start their new lives away from GarLind Ridge.

All GarLind Ridge collies are house trained as they live in our home and very affectionate as they are a part of our family.

If you are interested in a GarLind Ridge retired adult, please feel free to contact us to be put on a waiting list should one become available.

Abby retired from Garlind Ridge at the age of 6. She joined her birth daughter, Lucy, in her home. I think you can tell the wonderful home that she has. Thank you Bonnie and Rick!

Windy retired from our breeding program young due to mastitis. She was rehomed with her son, Sammy Breeze. What a great life she has. Thank you Michael and Ann!

Chantilly Lace had a very hard delivery with her final litter. Although she was young, we made the decision to retire Chantilly. She is now living a wonderful life with her birth daughter, Lacy. Chantilly is also a Therapy dog passing all of the tests needed to work in a Nursing Home. Thank you Lindsay and family!

When Hero retired, a wonderful family with two other Garlind Ridge collies asked about adopting him. Hero now lives with his son Jack and daughter Cali. Thank you Donna and family!

Maggy May was young but had a difficult labor, therefore, we decided we would retire her young. Maggy was very fortunate to be added to a wonderful family who had lost their very special collie. Maggy helped fill a void of a family who loves her very much.

What an amazing boy Mister is and was at Garlind Ridge. Mister threw 3/4 tri puppies in a predominantly Sable seeking United States, therefore, we had the need for another stud. We retired Mister to join our son and family. Thank you Phil and Lori!
